Suitable for beginners, the programme takes you from essential nail preparation, hygiene and natural nail care through to professional enhancement systems and some of the most in-demand nail services currently offered in salons.
Training is practical and hands-on, allowing you to build your skills and confidence across multiple techniques while working towards a range of AIT-accredited certifications.
Gel Polish – Nail preparation, professional application and removal.
BIAB / Builder Gel – Natural nail overlays, strengthening and structured applications.
E-File – Safe and effective use of an electric nail file as part of professional nail services.
Soft Gel Tips – Preparation, sizing, application, shaping and removal.
Gel Nail Extensions – Professional gel enhancement techniques, structure, shaping and finishing.
Acrylic Nail Extensions – Professional acrylic application, structure, shaping and finishing.
Nail Art – Develop a range of creative salon nail-art techniques.
Natural Nail, Hand & Foot Care – Professional preparation and care techniques for the hands, feet and natural nails.
Health, Safety & Hygiene – Nail anatomy, allergies, contraindications, infection prevention and safe salon working practices.

On successful completion of the relevant elements of the programme, students receive AIT-accredited certification covering:

This allows you to build a broad professional treatment menu rather than qualifying in just one nail system.
Students receive a professional nail kit containing essential products and tools to support their practical training and continued practice outside the academy.
