The ITEC Level 4 Certificate in Skin Peeling is an advanced therapy qualification designed for practitioners aged 18 and over, who are already qualified at Level 3 and wish to enhance their skillset.
Throughout this qualification, learners will deepen their knowledge and understanding of relevant anatomy, physiology, and health and safety practices specific to Level 4 non-medical aesthetic therapies. They will also develop the expertise to consult with and analyze clients while administering skin peeling treatments.
In parallel, learners will refine their communication and customer service skills and broaden their understanding of the principles and practices of Level 4 non-medical aesthetic therapies—attributes highly valued by employers.
A skin peel involves the application of a chemical solution to the skin, encouraging exfoliation and eventual peeling. This treatment aims to regenerate and improve the appearance of the skin, resulting in smoother, less wrinkled skin. Skin peels effectively target various skin concerns, including fine lines and wrinkles, sagging skin, age spots, sun damage, acne pigmentation, and more.
To enroll, learners must hold a traditional Level 3 beauty therapy qualification that includes facial electrical and ideally body electrical units, as well as Level 3 anatomy and physiology. At a minimum, learners should possess a Level 2 facial unit and Level 3 anatomy and physiology.
